Terms of Service
GreenQuest ("Company"/"we"/"us") runs the missions and website at greenquest.com, plus any related services (the "Services"). Read these terms carefully. Using the Services means you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the Services or anything on it. These terms can change. If you keep using the Services after we update them, that means you agree to the new version. New features added to the Services follow these terms unless we say otherwise. Check back here once in a while to see if anything's changed.
CONDUCT & MISSION PARTICIPATION RULES
The Services exist because of community, integrity, skill-building, and having fun. Follow the rules and participate the right way. This part covers account rules, mission participation, and what you can't do. User Accounts. You get one account per platform or device. We suggest keeping just one account across everything. If you run multiple accounts on different devices, they can't interact with each other at all. If we catch that happening, we'll ban, reset, or penalize one or more of those accounts. Virtual Currency & Mission Credits. Virtual currency or credits earned in missions can't be sold, traded, or turned into real money. If you try, you're breaking these Terms and your account gets suspended permanently. We might take legal action too. All virtual currency purchases are final. No refunds. You can't exchange credits for actual cash. GreenQuest can change, control, modify, or get rid of virtual currency whenever we want, and we don't owe you anything for it. You're responsible for every charge on your account. If your account gets terminated or suspended, you lose all virtual credits. General Conduct & Prohibited Acts. Some things break our rules. You can't do any of this: Use the Services if you're under thirteen. Pick a username that disrespects or offends people. Use bots, auto-clickers, hacks, or exploits, or do anything else we've banned in our Rules and Policies. Tell other users they broke mission rules through forums, comments, status messages, or chat. See something wrong and have proof? Report it through our contact form instead. Upload, post, email, send, or share anything like this on the Services: material that's illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, libelous, invades someone's privacy, hateful, or racist or ethnically offensive. Same goes for anything that breaks a law. something that violates someone else's intellectual or proprietary rights. something you don't have the right to share. lies, false claims, or anything that creates a false impression, pretends to be another user or staff member, or could hurt kids. Mess with the Services or connected networks. Don't break rules, procedures, policies, or network regulations. Don't probe, scan, or test for security holes or try to break in. Break any local, state, national, or international law, whether you mean to or not. Resell the content, use, or access to the Services. Do anything else we've banned in these Terms. Action by Company. If you do something prohibited, we might delete your post or message. Your account could be temporarily or permanently limited, blocked, suspended, or terminated depending on how serious the violation is. We can also apply other punishments we think are appropriate. Availability. We can change, pause, or shut down the Services whenever and for any reason, no warning needed. Sometimes the Services aren't available because of maintenance or equipment problems. We add or update information and materials without telling you first. We reserve the right to change and update the Services however we see fit.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, OWNERSHIP AND CONTENT RULES
GreenQuest cares about protecting intellectual property. This part explains who owns what and the rules around content. Copyright and Trademark Information. The Services, everything in it, and the information and materials are owned by GreenQuest and its licensors. Copyright law, trademark law, international agreements, and other intellectual property laws protect them from being copied or spread without permission. GreenQuest product names and logos are trademarks or registered trademarks of GreenQuest. Other company and product names and logos belong to their owners. Nothing on the Services gives you a license or right to use the Services or any materials displayed on it. You need written permission from GreenQuest first. Feedback & Suggestions. Send us feedback, comments, or suggestions ("Feedback") and we can use it in the Services or other GreenQuest products. You agree that GreenQuest doesn't have to keep Feedback confidential. Feedback isn't your or anyone else's proprietary information, and you have the right to share it. GreenQuest and our successors can freely use, copy, publish, license, distribute, and commercialize Feedback. You won't get paid or reimbursed for it. Content. Everything posted or sent to the Services—whether public or private—is the user's responsibility. GreenQuest doesn't control content, so we don't guarantee it's accurate, complete, or good quality. Using the Services means you might see materials that are offensive, indecent, or objectionable. Partner Terms of Service. GreenQuest follows the terms of service from our platform partners like Facebook, Apple, Google, and Android. You've read and agree to follow the terms of service for whichever platform you use to access our Services. Know what their terms say and don't violate them. Violating them could get you banned.
LIABILITY AND RISK TERMS
GreenQuest has to limit its liability so we can offer these Services. Here's how. Release. GreenQuest doesn't supervise or control what members do with each other or with other people and companies. We don't control payment processors either. We can't guarantee users are who they say they are or how old they are. Our control over quality, safety, legality, truthfulness, or accuracy is limited. Because of all this, you accept the risk. You release GreenQuest and everyone working there—officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and third-party partners—from claims, demands, and damages connected to your use of the Services. You also give up any rights you'd normally have under any law that would let you get a bigger release or waiver. DISCLAIMER. Everything provided through the Services is "as is." GreenQuest doesn't represent, guarantee, or promise that the information or materials are correct, accurate, reliable, or complete. We don't promise the functions will work without stopping or errors. We don't promise defects will be fixed or that the Services or servers are free of viruses or harmful stuff. GreenQuest specifically disclaims all representations, guarantees, and promises, whether stated directly, implied, by law, by how things are usually done, or any other way. This includes any implied promises about being sold as-is, not violating anyone's rights, owning the product, being good quality, or fitting a specific purpose. Anything you download or get from the Services is your choice and your risk. You're responsible for any damage to your computer, lost data, or other loss from downloading or using that material. GreenQuest doesn't guarantee, endorse, or promise anything about content or materials on the Services. We don't promise anything about products or services advertised by third parties through the Services or about anything you can reach from a link on our site or see in a banner or ad. We're not part of any deal you make with a third party. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. As much as the law lets us, GreenQuest won't be liable for indirect, accidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or other damages. This includes damages from using or not being able to use the Services or anything on it, the cost of replacing goods or data or information or services, errors or mistakes or wrong information on the Services, any property damage from using the Services, bugs or viruses or trojan horses or harmful files sent through the Services, or any other loss or damage from using the Services. These limits apply even if we knew damages might happen. These limits apply as much as the law allows in your location. INDEMNIFICATION. You'll protect and hold harmless GreenQuest, our affiliates, officers, agents, platform partners, and employees from all claims, threats, actions, lawsuits, demands, damages, losses, obligations, costs, and expenses including reasonable lawyer fees. These come from materials you submit, post, send, or share through the Services, any way you break these Terms, or any way you violate someone else's rights. This includes all intellectual property rights and rights of publicity, personality, or privacy.
GENERAL TERMS
Other important legal stuff you should know about when you use the Services. Links to Third-Party Services. The Services might link to other sites we don't own or run. GreenQuest isn't responsible for what's on those linked services. Third-party services have their own terms and conditions. You're responsible for finding them and following them. Termination. GreenQuest can stop your access to the Services or part of it immediately and without warning under certain circumstances. We can do this if you break these Terms or any other agreement with us, including not paying fees. We can also do this if law enforcement asks, if you ask, if we change or stop offering the Services, or if we hit unexpected technical, security, or legal issues. We can terminate you if you participate in fraud or illegal activity. When we terminate your access, we might remove materials you uploaded. You agree that GreenQuest decides terminations on its own and won't be liable to you or anyone else for ending your access. If your account is terminated or you cancel it, no refund happens and you lose access to Site Content. Termination is on top of any other rights GreenQuest has. Security. Information sent over the internet isn't usually secure. GreenQuest can't promise the website is secure or that third parties won't intercept your personal information or anything else you send. Updates. GreenQuest can change, pause, or stop the Services or any part of it whenever we want, with or without notice. You agree we won't be liable to you or anyone else for modifying, pausing, or stopping the Services. Entire Agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Rules and Policies make up the whole agreement between us about the Services and everything related to it.
